The new Porsche 911 Turbo S and Cabriolet are announced

La version 992 de la mythique Porsche 911 va s’agrémenter en 2020 de la déclinaison Turbo. Apparue en 1975 avec la génération 930, la version Turbo promet habituellement puissance, souplesse de conduite et performances.

The 2020 vintage of the Turbo S is no exception to the rule. The 3.8 liter boxer engine sees its power increased to 650 horsepower for 800 Nm of torque. This is a big jump (+70 horsepower compared to the previous Turbo).

The 100 km/h mark is shattered in just 2''7. The maximum speed is set at 330 km/h. The German racing car gains muscle, with 45 millimeters of additional width on the front and 20 millimeters more at the rear.

For the first time in its existence, the Turbo S offers two different tire formats, 20 inches on the front axle and 21 inches at the rear.

The Turbo convertible was also unveiled for, according to Porsche, identical performance. The best deal is to take the Turbo S coupe, “only” 216 euros (price in Germany) compared to 396 euros for the convertible.
