McLaren begins dynamic testing of the Senna GTR

With a surname recalling the finest hours of McLaren en F1, Senna has quickly become one of the most anticipated hypercars. Equipped with a first-rate technical sheet with in its civilian version 800 hp coming from the 8-liter twin-turbo V4, the Senna will also be available in an even meaner version: the GTR.

Unveiled last March via a first performance, the GTR has started its first dynamic tests, in order to make the most of its 825 hp (25 more than the road Senna), coupled with a mass contained at 1198 kg empty.

The Senna GTR will benefit from McLaren's work on the suspensions, taken from the GT3 versions seen in action in recent seasons. The aerodynamics of the car should be able to generate 1000 kg of downforce.

75 examples of the car will be produced and have all already been sold, with the first deliveries expected for September 2019. The price? More than €1 excluding tax.
