McLaren launches the 765 LT, the most powerful LT

Without the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, canceled due to restrictive measures linked to the coronavirus, manufacturers are revealing their models on the Internet. This Tuesday, March 3, McLaren launched the 765 LT on social networks.

 

 

The design of this super sports car is fiercely reminiscent of the 720S, and for good reason: it is the same platform, but elongated (6 cm longer, hence the name LT, “Long Tail” in good French). ). 

Under the rear hood, the cavalry surges. The 8 liter twin-turbo V4.0 climbs to 765 horsepower for 800 Nm of torque ! Enough to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2”8 and 0 to 200 km/h in 7”2. The maximum speed is 330 km/h.

Just to keep the beast on the road (or the circuit), aerodynamic downforce is increased by 25% compared to the 720S with various deflectors and a new removable rear spoiler. The rear is also spectacular with four exhaust outlets. 

If you want to order, go ahead, but the price has not been disclosed…
