McLaren launches a GT3X version of its 720S

Replacing the 650S GT3, the 720S GT3 has not yet allowed McLaren to experience the same success as Audi, Mercedes or even Lamborghini on a commercial level in the microcosm of the events highlighting the category.

2Seas Motorsport nevertheless won the Gulf 12 Hours with the creation of Woking, when Jenson Team Rocket RJN will enter the car this year in DTM. McLaren, however, intends to offer new horizons to its car, by unveiling a GT3X version, devoid of any technical limitations, such as Balance of Performance.

The 8-liter V4,0 thus displays a record output of 720 hp (like the standard version), plus a “push to pass” style boost of 30 hp. The total weight to be carried is 1 kg, for a great power-to-weight ratio. This car exclusively reserved for the circuit cannot, however, be approved in competition. Damage !
