Porsche did not come to Geneva (Switzerland) empty-handed. The German brand presented three models to the public at the motor show on Tuesday March 5: the 911 Cabriolet, the 718 T and the Macan S.
The 911 Cabriolet is the star of the Porsche stand. The car is quite logically a convertible version of the ninth generation of 911 Coupé unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show at the end of 2018. The roof, mainly made of magnesium, can open and retract up to 50 km/h in just 12 seconds.

Two versions are available at the moment, the Carrera S and 4S. Both feature a twin-turbo engine with 450 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. The maximum speed slightly exceeds 300 km/h (306 to be exact). Sport Plus mode allows you to reach 100 km/h in 3 seconds. The prices are not within the reach of all budgets, with 7 euros for the Carrera S and 136 euros for the 655S.
The Porsche 718 T is available on both the Boxster and the Cayman. This model makes do with a small 4 liter flat-2.0 engine with 300 horsepower. 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 5”1 (4”7 with the PDK gearbox). The ''T'' range is a lightweight, simplified version of the base Boxster and Cayman, with the standard inclusion of the Sport Chrono pack and the Sport chassis lowered by 20mm.
Finally, the Macan S, the small 4×4 by Porsche, benefits from a stylistic update but above all from a new engine block. A 6 liter double-turbo V3.0 delivering 354 horsepower is hidden under the hood. The weight approaches two tonnes and 0 to 100 is reached in 5”3. The Macan S will be for you for 66 euros.
