Seat launches production of respirators

Hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic, Spain can count on the support of Seat. The brand owned by the Volkswagen group has redirected part of its production to be able to manufacture respirators called OxyGEN and validated for use by the Spanish health agency.

The Martorell factory, near Barcelona in Catalonia, hopes to be able to produce 300 copies of these respirators per day, after having reorganized the production line usually dedicated to the Seat Leon.

An initiative that joins those already launched by PSA, Ford and many large industrial groups.
