On the evening of December 1, 2021 (US time), Tesla listed on his store an unexpected product: the “Cyberquad for Kids”. This is a miniature version of the Cyberquad, an electric quad which caused a sensation during the presentation of the Cybertruck.
Up to 16 km/h and 24 km
Tesla had actually presented a quad matching the pickup, housed in the bed via a retractable ramp. The Cyberquad for children has a design straight out of a cyberpunk science fiction film. With its 36 Volt lithium battery, it claims a top speed of 10 mph (16 km/h) and a range of 15 miles (24 km). It measures 120 x 66 x 68 cm and weighs 55 kg. The manufacturer indicates that it is suitable for children from 8 years old and up to 68 kg.
US residents can pre-order it for $1 excluding tax, the equivalent of €900 including tax. It will be delivered as a kit, 2 pieces to assemble, within 000 to 18 weeks.
Fond of derivative products, Tesla has once again associated with toy manufacturer Radio Flyer, which already markets a Tesla Model S for children, for $ 500.
