Le Rally du Maroc 2021 offered this Tuesday, October 12, the longest stage of this week: 546 km including 367 of special, traced around Zagora with a few ergs and few sandy passages.

Solid leader since the qualifying special, Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota) has, for once, slowed down in the company of his navigator Mathieu Baumel. The Toyota Gazoo Racing team, after losing more than five minutes at the start of the course, however closed to 1'39'' behind the winners of the day: Yazeed Al-Rajhi and Michael Orr.

The Saudi driver's Toyota Hilux therefore opens its counter on the Rally of Morocco, having led at all intermediate points. However, this is not enough to seriously get back into the fight for the final victory because he has spent 11'21'' on the eve of the finish.

In the Light Vehicles class (T3), the race changed. Leading from the start of the rally, Cristina Gutiérrez and François Cazalet will not finish the stage due to a transmission failure on their machine Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team. The command post is expected to be transferred to P.Lebedev-K.Shubin (MSK Rally Team).
