He joins a well-stocked field of prestigious names such as McLaren, Lewis Hamilton (X44 Vida Carbon Racing), Nico Rosberg (Rosberg X Racing), Jenson Button (JBXE) or Carlos Sainz Sr. (ACCIONA | SAINZ XE Team).

A strong reinforcement and a fantastic spotlight for the series which aims to be at the heart of the most urgent environmental problems facing the planet. At the same time, the championship has integrated equality and diversity, with each team fielding a male and a female driver.

If this commitment marks Carl Cox's first step into the world of electric competition, the famous DJ is no stranger to the world of motorsport. He created his Carl Cox Motorsport team in 2013 and has numerous competitive participations on two, three and four wheels.

The international star does not lack ambition: “I am here to make a difference. Having the opportunity to be part of something so dynamic on four wheels is a dream come true. Racing, like music, is in my blood and I will bring my passion and energy into this series and build something special. The man his peers call “The King” has been occupying the biggest electro stages in the world for over 30 years, from Wembley to Glastonbury, Burning Man in Ibiza and his annual festival in Miami on Brighton beach. He improvised a set in Sardinia last year during his visit to the Sardinian round of Extreme E.
