Nasser Al-Attiyah and Mathieu Baumel don't really like to share their cake. The infernal tandem of Toyota Gazoo Racing won a third stage of the Rally of Morocco 2021 in as many special stages, not counting the qualifying special.

The Qatari and his faithful French navigator handled the terrain more brittle and stony than the previous two days around Zagora. The main difficulty lay in the deliberately tricky navigation decided by the organizer, David Castera.

The Toyota Hilux 4×4 could, however, have been defeated by the Mini JCW Buggy of Jakub Przygonski and Timo Gottschalk of the X-Raid team. The Polish driver was in the lead at the crossing point located 300 km into the SS, but lost 27 precious seconds in the final sprint.

Third place in the stage went to Yazeed Al-Rajhi and Michael Orr. Their Toyota suffered the trifle of three punctures on Sunday and they continue to regularly lose time on Al-Attiyah-Baumel. Here they are 13 minutes behind in the general classification.

Also plagued by damage at the start of the event, the Century CR6 of Mathieu Serradori and Loïc Minaudier made up for it with the fourth fastest time of the day.
