The company Prodrive, founded by David Richards, does not lack English humor. The British company has in fact adapted the Hunter T1 driven by Sébastien Loeb, Nani Roma and Orlando Terranova on the Dakar 2022 for road use!

The high-legged Hunter is closely derived from the 4×4 seen in the World Championship events of rally-raid (W2RC). Here is the Hunter adorned with the adjective Hypercar, after all, there are many sporty 4x4s, so why not venture into the field of ultra-performance?
“We made a conscious decision to keep the Hunter Hypercar as close to the original as possible. It's about giving owners the opportunity to experience what it's like to drive Loeb's car through the desert, but with all the comforts of a road car and the ability to drive it from home, across a city, to any destination of your choice. »
It seems so simple... once you sign a big check for 1,25 million pounds (excluding tax), the equivalent of around 1,5 million euros! At this price, you will be able to boast of driving a 4×4 more powerful than the mount of the nine-time world rally champion (WRC). The 6-liter twin-turbo V3.5 derived from the Ford GT provides 600 horsepower while a regulatory limit lowers the cavalry to “only” 300 horsepower in the race.
The new 600 bhp Prodrive Hunter all-terrain hypercar has 400mm of suspension travel with twin dampers – that's 50mm more than Dakar car, giving it an even greater capability to cross the roughest conditions at high speed.

0 to 100 would be reached in less than 4 seconds in a machine that preserves the engine, transmission and suspension of the rally-raid version.
“There are many hypercars on the market, but they all need good smooth roads or even racing tracks to show their performance, continues the former rally co-driver. We have identified that in some parts of the world, particularly in the Middle East, there remain vast areas to explore that go far beyond the access provided by paved roads. Therefore, why not create a vehicle that gives the opportunity to explore these regions with performance far beyond that offered by any off-road vehicle before. »
