On this second evening of competition at Lans en Vercors, Aurélien Panis (#38 – Audi A1 Isère – Sainteloc Racing) and Yann Ehrlacher (#68 – AS01 Dupessey – Mracing) went blow for blow. If Ehrlacher wins the round thanks to his victory enhanced by the best lap in the Super Final, Aurélien Panis, exceptional this season, pockets his second title e-Andros Trophy after the one won in 2021.

Yann Ehrlacher set the best mark during the first qualifying session ahead of Panis who managed to stay in his wake, despite his 60kg of ballast following his victory the day before.

The second session turned out to be much faster and the drivers continued to improve the time, notably Aurélien Panis who completed three fantastic laps to take control of the round before the Super Pole. Cruel disillusionment for Dorian Boccolacci who failed to take a place among the 6 best drivers and found himself excluded from the Super Final and unfortunately from the fight for the title...

The ballast carried by Aurélien, however, proved prohibitive in Super Pole and he could not do better than third behind Yann Ehrlacher and Nathanael Berthon (#63 – Peugeot e208 – SP Competition).

At the start of the Super Final, under heavy snow, only one small point separated Panis and Ehrlacher, to the advantage of the 2021 champion, and we could easily imagine reliving the suspense scenario of the day before. Aurélien managed to take off but in the final turn of the first lap Ehrlacher found the opening and took the lead of the race. All he had to do was pocket the point for the best lap to win the round, which he did brilliantly, improving his mark three times!

This title rewards the fantastic season of Aurélien Panis and Team Saintéloc, marked by 4 victories. Dorian Boccolacci retains his place as runner-up by 5 points but sees the threat of Yann Ehrlacher growing in his mirrors.

See you in a week at Super Besse for the outcome of this exciting Andros e-Trophy season!
