This Saturday marked the return of the ice virtuosos to the Val Thorens circuit. The tone was set by Dorian Boccolacci (#3 – AS01 – Sébastien Loeb Racing) who won the qualifications for his entry onto the track in the 34th edition of the Andros Trophy now 100% electric for 4 years.

After the drawing of the order of passage of the 6 drivers selected for the Super Pole, it was won by JB Dubourg (#1 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing).

But it was Dorian Boccolacci who, in total points, was placed on the 1st row for the Super Final followed by Nathanaël Berthon (#63 – Peugeot e208 – SP Compétition) and the outgoing champion JB Dubourg (#1 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing). The latter could not keep his place following an exit from the track at the start of the race and in the following we witnessed a great battle between Aurélien Panis (#38 – Audi A1 Isère – Sainteloc Racing) and Yvan Muller (#10 – Andros Sport – Mracing) which placed itself in the Top 5.

In the end Dorian Boccolacci crossed the finish line as a winner. We found him on the podium with Nathanael Berthon and JB Dubourg respectively 2nd and 3rd in this inaugural race.

Note the good performance of the specialist in Rallycross Anthony Pelfrene (#16 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing) who, for his first participation on the ice, gave the experienced Yann Ehrlacher (#68 – AS01 Dupessey – Mracing) a hard time during the Final. The nine-time World Rally champion Sébastien Loeb (#9 – AS01 – Sébastien Loeb Racing) could only follow this fight from a distance and ended the day in 9th place overall.

the Ford driver WRC Adrien fourmaux made his mark and finished the day in an honorable 11th place. Sunday should see this sliding specialist gain momentum.

Great start in the Elite category for Julien Fébreau (#16 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing). The star commentator of the F1 on Canal+ won the qualifications for the 1st race and led a single rider at the head of the Final to pocket all the points for this first day. Very nice work.

In the Andros Stars e-Trophy, the Olympic pole vault champion and steering wheel and handlebar virtuoso Renaud Lavillenie (#3 – Andros) did not hide his pleasure at rediscovering the joys of skiing and offered himself the best time at the end of the two qualifying heats before outclassing Romain Monti (#2 – Motul) in the final.
