Pas de la Casa had put on its festive clothes to welcome the second stage of the e-Andros Trophy 2022-2023. The drivers were able to benefit from exceptional ice conditions on the slopes of Envalira this Friday, to the advantage of Christophe Ferrier who pocketed the first day of the meeting.

The drivers set off for the first qualifying heat with almost zero visibility caused by fog that could be cut with a knife. The best time went to Yann Ehrlacher (#68 – AS01 Dupessey – Mracing) who was ahead of Olivier Pernaut (#4 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing), very comfortable on this track, and her teammate reigning champion Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (#1 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing).

The fog had lifted at the start of the second round which favored Christophe Ferrier (#06 – Métropole Nice – DRP) while the championship leader Aurélien Panis (#38 – Audi A1 Isère – Sainteloc Racing) managed to get away. qualify for the Super Pole despite its 60 kilos of ballast.

Dubourg pulled out all the stops in Super Pole with a great time, but Ferrier managed to maintain his advantage to start in pole position in the Super Final.

The snow appeared in Andorra for the Super Final which saw a big novelty in the sauce Rallycross with the obligation to complete a joker lap during the race. A delay in the program, however, allowed the bulk of the downpour to pass and the drivers were able to set off at 22:45 p.m. with visibility limited by the return of fog, for heats reduced from 7 to 5 laps. At the start of the Super Final, Ferrier was surprised by Dubourg who won after 5 laps alone. Thanks to his second place, Ferrier nevertheless ensured the final victory.

In Elite, Margot Laffite had a very big run in qualifying for the Super Final to win the race ahead of Louis Gervoson and Emmanuel Moinel.

In the provisional Elite Pro general classification of the 2022-2023 Andros e-Trophy, Aurélien Panis is now ahead of Jean-Baptiste Dubourg by 2 points. Nathanael Berthon, less energetic than in Val Thorens, remains 3rd thanks to a victory in the small final.
