e-Trophée Andros – JB Dubourg emerges as boss

With 2 meters of snowfall in recent days on Pas de la Casa and an immaculate icy carpet 40cm thick on the track, the conditions were ideal for the sliding opening of this second round of the e-Andros Trophy

WEEKEND HOURS

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg, relieved for this event, thought he had done the hardest in the qualifying sessions by pocketing 45 points but his third place in Super Pole shuffled the cards, with Dorian Boccolacci pocketing the 6 points for the best time at the wheel of his Audi A1. Everything remained possible at the start of the Super Final where the two drivers shared the first row with the same number of points.

By placing its Renault Zoe on the outside line, Jean-Baptiste Dubourg had chosen safety at the start of the Super Final. A profitable choice since the specialist in Rallycross achieves the All shot and takes the lead for the 4 laps of the race while Boccolacci loses a place to Christophe Ferrier. The positions will no longer change and Dubourg takes the checkered flag as winner with the point for the best lap to consolidate his first position in the general classification.

Ice does not cool the phoenix and Romain Grosjean continues to progress. Unfortunately, a crash in the qualifying session deprived him of Super Pole but it was only postponed since Romain confirmed his presence for the final round of Super Besse. Nothing surprising when you know the competitive spirit of the pilot ofIndycar.
