e-Trophée Andros – Olivier Pernaut’s morning response to Isola 2000

Olivier Pernaut

By setting a fantastic best time during Q1 at the wheel of his Andros Sport AS01 run by M Racing, Olivier knew he had done the hardest part. He finished the qualifying heats in the lead ahead of Aurélien Panis and Dorian Boccolacci. But it was the latter who stood out during the Super Pole by setting the best time and closing to 4 lengths of Pernaut before the Super Final.

The peloton race will do nothing and Olivier Pernaut wins with panache by setting the fastest lap. A fair reward for this Trophy faithful since 2005, the date of his first participation. Yann Ehrlacher completes this glorious morning of M Racing with a fine 4th place.

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg lost further ground, finishing in 5th place. This weekend at Isola 2000 is already looking like an event to forget for the reigning champion. 3rd Aurélien Panis consolidates his leadership position and can take advantage of a well-deserved lunch break before the resumption of hostilities scheduled for 15:00 p.m.

Weekend hours

GENERAL ELITE PRO RANKING: 1- Aurélien Panis (355 pts) / 2- Yann Ehrlacher (339 pts) / 3- JB Dubourg (330 pts)

In the Elite category, Championship leaders Jimmy Clairet and Eddy Benezet made their mark all morning. If Julien Febreau keeps his pace from the first day by winning the Super Final, the second round of the weekend finally goes to Clairet who takes a little breath in the championship.

GENERAL ELITE RANKING: 1- Jimmy Clairet (324 pts) / 2- Eddy Benezet (316 pts) / 3- Natan Bihel (299 pts)
