Final of the suspenseful Andros e-Trophy at Super Besse

With application of the counts (of the 10 results of each driver, only the 9 best are counted), JB Dubourg takes the lead in the general Elite Pro classification with 475 points followed by Aurélien Panis at 1 point and Yann Ehrlacher at 2 points.

These tiny differences leave no room for any form of calculation because a victory at the end of this Super Besse final would be synonymous with a title for one of the 3 contenders.

Prestigious guest of this last round, Sébastien Loeb will be keen to complete his formidable marathon with panache which saw him achieve a 2nd place in the Dakar and a legendary victory in the Monte Carlo. Olympic pole vault champion Renaud Lavillenie will come up against the big names in the premier category for the first time. The ultra-versatile champion, a regular on the ice for several years now, should not disappoint his many fans.

The races are contested on 100% electric cars with 4-wheel drive and steering: the Andros Sport. The propulsion chains and 200 kW (270 hp) electric motors are identical for all cars. The chassis, settings, suspensions and bodies, however, remain free. Two drivers share a car and compete in two separate races: one in the Elite category (reserved for hopefuls and amateurs), the other in the Elite Pro category.

Each round has two days. This weekend two races will be exceptionally contested on Saturday: WEEKEND HOURS

Above all, two qualifying rounds give rise to a first ranking based on the best of the two rounds. The first 2 in the Elite Pro category are qualified for the SuperPole and compete in a single timed lap.

At the end of these qualifying rounds, the Elite Pro starting grid is established based on the cumulative points (qualifying + super pole) while the Elite grid is established based on the ranking of the qualifying rounds. The first 6 compete in the Super Final, the following the Final.

Renaud Lavillenie will double his participation in the Elite ePro category with the Andros Stars. He will be accompanied by Cindy Gudet, four-time French mountain champion, Laurène Godey, Xavier Pompidou and the actor Tomer Sisley, a great fan of beautiful mechanics.
