The drivers of the e-Andros Trophy meet this weekend at an altitude of 2200 meters in the Val-Thorens resort on the circuit Alain Prost with a length of 900 meters.
This 34th winter tour is rich in promise with a line-up bringing together no less than 17 world champion titles with Sébastien Loeb (9 x World Rally Champion), Yvan Muller (4 x World Touring Champion), Yann Ehrlacher (2 x WTCR World Champion) and Mathieu Baumel (2 x FIA World Champion Rally Raid).
17 seems to be the totem number of this season since with the return of the king of ice Yvan Muller (M Racing), there are 10 Andros titles which are added to the 6 titles of Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (DA Racing) gleaned in 2016-2019, 2021 and 2022, and for the title of Aurélien Panis (Saintéloc Racing) acquired in 2020.
Among the candidates for victory in Elite Pro, Dorian Boccolacci (Sébastien Loeb Racing) and Nathanael Berthon (Sylvain Pussier Compétition) will certainly be keen to continue their good momentum from 2021-2022 which saw them challenge for the title until the finals gliding tricks. Adrien fourmaux (DRP) will certainly be able to count on its experience of abuses in WRC to quickly get closer to the outposts. Sébastien Loeb will take part in two races this season, in Val Thorens and Super Besse.
In the Elite category, the star duo of Canal+, Margot Laffitte (Sébastien Loeb Racing) and Julien Fébreau (DA Racing), will go blow for blow on the track while Clémentine Lhoste (Sylvain Pussier Compétition) will strive to retain her title of 1st female.
Coming to discover the Andros e-Trophy during the Lans-en-Vercors event in 2022, Iris Mittenaere, Miss France and Miss Universe 2016, will be the godmother of the competition this season.
The meeting is underway and the cold that has fallen in recent days on the Savoyard track has made it possible to prepare an ideal playground for these happy frosties. !
