The Andros e-Trophy resumes this weekend at Isola 2000

Preparations are in full swing at the station Alpine

After a quick winter break, the drivers and cars of the e-Andros Trophy are fully recharged and ready to do battle on one of the most technical tracks of the season, the Isola 2000 circuit. And as we must properly celebrate the transition to the new year, in addition to Friday's race, two races will be contested on Saturday… For twice the fun!

The races are contested on 100% electric cars with 4-wheel drive and steering: the Andros Sport. The propulsion chains and 200 kW (270 hp) electric motors are identical for all cars. The chassis, settings, suspensions and bodies, however, remain free. Two drivers share a car and compete in two separate races: one in the Elite category (reserved for hopefuls and amateurs), the other in the Elite Pro category.

Each round has two days. This weekend two races will be exceptionally contested on Saturday: WEEKEND HOURS

Above all, two qualifying rounds give rise to a first ranking based on the best of the two rounds. The first 2 in the Elite Pro category are qualified for the SuperPole and compete in a single timed lap.

At the end of these qualifying rounds, the Elite Pro starting grid is established based on the cumulative points (qualifying + super pole) while the Elite grid is established based on the ranking of the qualifying rounds. The first 6 compete in the Super Final, the following the Final.

After having signed a first victory full of authority in Andorra Andorra, Yann Ehrlacher would like to climb again on the highest step of the podium but will have to deal with a let of 60kg. Jean-Baptiste Dubourg will be keen to repeat his feat of 2021 which propelled him to the title at the end of the season.

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg and Aurélien Panis arrive at Isola 2000 perfectly tied on points, 6 lengths ahead of Yann Ehrlacher. Nathanaël Berthon is right behind them in fourth place, but remains under threat from Dorian Boccolacci. The lively Cannais driver has taken the measure of his electric mount and is gaining momentum throughout the rounds.
