With 13 small points separating the first 5 drivers in a general classification still led by Julien Fébreau and Margot Laffite, the e-categoryAndros Trophy Élite is by far the most competitive this season. Julien Fébreau can boast of having stolen the command of the Trophy from Margot Laffite, but the duettists of Canal+ see Emmanuel Moinel, Edgar Maloigne and Sylvain Pussier returning in their rearview mirrors.
Saturday, Gérald Fontanel, resident of DA Racing on the Renault Zoé #1, had plenty of points by winning the qualifying heats before winning in the Super Final ahead of Edgar Maloigne (#3 – AS01 – Sébastien Loeb Racing), Julien Fébreau (#16 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing) and Margot Laffite (#9 – Mersen – Sébastien Loeb Racing) who had retained the lead in the Elite general classification by a few points.
For the first of the two races on the program on Sunday, Fontanel did it again, leaving his opponents no chance to secure a second consecutive victory on the Isola 2 track. On the second step of the podium, Julien Fébreau took the opportunity to steal the orders the Trophy to Margot.
For the last race of the weekend, Emmanuel Moinel (#4 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing) won his first victory of the season with art and style. He was ahead of Edgar Maloigne, Margot Laffite and Clémentine Lhoste (#1 – Peugeot e208 Loxam). A great overall performance from the women who had received a visit from the godmother of the Andros e-Trophy 2023, Iris Mittenaere, Miss France and Miss Universe 2016.
On the evening of this event in the Alpes-Maritimes, the general classification was turned upside down with Julien Fébreau in the lead with 373 points ahead of Margot Laffite, Emmanuel Moinel and Edgar Maloigne tied on points (364).
