To find out the winner of the round this Saturday at Isola 2000, you absolutely must not miss the first qualifying session. Indeed, after Olivier Pernaut's exploit this morning, this session was won this afternoon by Yann Ehrlacher at the wheel of the M Racing Dupessey 01. The good performance of Q2 was to the credit of reigning champion JB Dubourg who finally placed his Renault Zoe ices at the top of the timesheet.

The Super Pole therefore saw the three strong men of the championship compete, Aurélien Panis, impeccable this weekend, joining his two friends in the fight for pole position in the peloton race.

Yann Ehrlacher finally got the better of JB Dubourg and took the lead in the Super Final, tied on points with the DA Racing driver. This last race of the weekend was of course a major challenge for all the drivers and it was a particularly nervous battle that we were able to witness. At the start of the 2nd lap, JB Dubourg made a mistake, unintentionally dragging Dorian Boccolacci along. A godsend for Aurélien Panis who took the opportunity to take 2nd place.

Yann Ehrlacher won his second victory of the season at the end of 6 laps ahead of Aurélien Panis and Dorian Boccolacci who managed to save his third place on the podium.

Elite Pro General Ranking after Isola 2000:

Substitute Romain Grosjean at the wheel of the Zoe GMD Pellets, Pierre-Louis Loubet gained momentum throughout the weekend and took a very good 6th place. Knowing how addictive ice cream is, it wouldn't be surprising to see the 2 WRC2019 World Champion again very soon.

In the Elite category, the young Edgar Maloigne, who is making his debut on ice this season at the wheel of the Saintéloc Racing Audi A1, takes his first victory ahead of the queen of the day on Friday, Clémentine Lhoste, and the championship leader Jimmy Clairet who continues to collect big points with the regularity... of a champion.
