At the end of 1984, with the world title in his pocket, the Austrian did not want to face Alain Prost again at McLaren. He thinks of Lotus, but Renault interests him more. That's good, Gérard Larrousse is looking for a real leader, a pilot capable of breathing new life into the French project. Everything is settled between the two parties, the story is beautiful. Too beautiful !
