History lives again at Le Mans. Forced to wait four years, enthusiasts of 24 Hours of Le Mans were finally able to relive nine decades of Sarthoise competition in a single weekend. The impatience was palpable while wandering around the Bugatti circuit. From the Friday morning tests, the passage through the various paddocks required a skillful art of zigzag in the middle of the crowd, a technique once again very useful in the imposing adjoining Village. What a contrast with the contemporary version of the 24 Hours (June 11-12)! At the Le Mans Classic, the shops as far as the eye can see delighted those looking for gems, miniatures, spare parts or documentation, like a exchange between Le Mans experts.
