24 Hours of Le Mans, EL2 – Porsche wakes up in the night

Hypercar: 

• La Porsche n°6 of Kevin Estre – André Lotterer – Laurens Vanthoor set the best time in the 2nd free practice session, held entirely at night.
• The German manufacturer placed two of its Hypercars in the top 3, as the No. 5 ranked in 3rd position. There Ferrari No. 51 was inserted between the two Porsches.
• The No. 311 Cadillac from the Action Express Racing team had a mishap mid-session, completing a lap in slow motion. The American team had to return the Hypercar to its box.
• Nicklas Nielsen had a small scare in the Arnage corner while passing through the escape route with the #5 Ferrari, without serious consequences.
• Another tough session for Peugeot , who placed his two 9X8s at the bottom of the rankings with a 13th place for #94 and a 14th place for #93.

LM P2: 

• In LM P2, it was Prema who set the best time in the category with the no. 63 of the trio Pin – Kvyat – Bortolotti, ahead of the United Autosports n°22 and the Jota n°28.
• A very calm session for the 24 prototypes in the category, where no incidents occurred.

GTE Am: 

• Finally, in the GTE Am category, Iron Lynx placed its No. 60 Porsche thanks to Matteo Cairoli in front of another Porsche, the No. 50 from the Project 1 – AO team.
