Hypercar

  • Alessandro Pier Guidi (Ferrari) carried out a very effective relay at nightfall of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023. The Italian increased his lead over his direct pursuer to one minute!
  • In 2nd place, no, you're not dreaming, it's definitely a Peugeot 9X8! That of Loïc duval, who valiantly resists the return of Kamui Kobayashi (Toyota).
  • The track was made wet by a downpour at 22 p.m. but the road dried very quickly. So quickly, that the Ferraris have just changed tires on the No. 51, and have taken soft slick tires instead of rain rubber.
  • La Porsche the best classified so far, the No. 75 of Mathieu Jaminet, has been the victim of a fuel pressure problem since 22:50 p.m. The Frenchman tried to ride in “full electric” mode between the Tertre Rouge and the start of the Hunaudières, but has been stopped for a quarter of an hour! Abandonment is unfortunately getting closer.

LM P2

  • Drama in the intermediate category. Solid leader for several hours, Oliver Rasmussen (Oreca of Team JOTA n°28) hit the safety rail at Tertre Rouge. Damaged hood, the Dane lost several minutes before returning to the pits (8th).
  • The lead of the race is entrusted to Fabio Scherer (Inter Europol Competition Oreca). The Swiss, who is driving this weekend despite a sore foot, is narrowly ahead of United Autosports and Team WRT.

GTE Am

  • We are witnessing a duel between the pink Porsche 911 RSR of the Iron Dames, driven by Michelle Gatting, and the other Porsche of Project 1 between the gloves of professional driver Matteo Cairoli.
