Alpine passed the second. This Friday, the French manufacturer lifted the veil on the A424_β, the LMDh set to represent the brand in the premier category from the start of the 2024 season in Qatar. If it's just a few visuals on the internet and a showcar at Le Mans, the French prototype will soon take action.
Busy semester forAlpine A424_β
Indeed, it has a rather busy schedule for the second half of 2023. The starting point will be June 28 when the A424_β will be started for the first time. A very important meeting will then take place for the LMDh ofAlpine, operated by Signatech, in mid-November with the passage in the wind tunnel to obtain LMDh approval.
The same month, the French clan will hold the first 24-hour endurance test at Motorland before a final test session in Portimão (Portugal) in December.
Finally, there will be the homologation procedure with the FIA at the end of December, thus determining whether the A424_β will be able to be present, or not, during the opening round of the 2024 season. WEC in Losail (Qatar) on March 2. Starting signal !
