Test Day 24 Hours of Le Mans is an opportunity for drivers to discover or rediscover the route of the 13,626 km non-permanent circuit. Particularly concerning the rookies, who are required to complete ten laps on the Le Mans track. This was the case for Lilou Wadoux and Sébastien Ogier in the Richard Mille Racing Team stable.

“It was a great discovery and an important first day to familiarize yourself with this circuit, confides the eight-time world rally champion, who already has his favorite part. »

For his first double round of the clock, the Gapençais placed particular emphasis on his physical preparation: “Physically, I prepared quite well, notably by losing weight because, given my size, I tend to have quite a few extra kilos compared to many other drivers. Compared to my teammates too. This has a huge impact on performance here, so I tried to do as much as possible. I'm almost back to the ideal weight I was when I was 25. It’s two or three kilos, I’m not going to go beyond that, but it’s always the idea of doing things as well as possible. » Not a fan of simulator sessions, Sébasien Ogier only wants to ride. He will have the opportunity to get back behind the wheel this Wednesday at 14 p.m., with the first Free Practice session.
