Spectator's guide: Prepare well for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

HOW TO GET THERE

BY ROAD

From Paris (205 km, approximately 2 hours) via the A11 exit 6, then A28 exit 23 (Le Mans ZI South).

From Nantes (180 km, approximately 1h40) via the A11 exit 9 (Le Mans Sud), then N226.

From Rouen (210 km, approximately 2h15) via the A28 exit 7 (Le Mans North) towards Le Mans-Centre, then Rocade south towards Tours-Angers.

From Rennes (160 km, approximately 1h30) via the A81 exit 8 (Le Mans Centre), then ring road south towards Tours-Angers, or A11 towards Nantes-Angers and exit 9 (Le Mans Sud).

From Bordeaux (425 km, approximately 4h20) via the A10, then the A28 from Tours, then D338 to Mulsanne.

BY RAIL

There are numerous daily TGV connections from Le Mans to Paris (Gares Montparnasse, Roissy-CDG or Massy-Orly) as well as to major French cities (Lyon, Rennes, Nantes, Lille, Marseille, etc.) and European cities ( London 4 hours, Brussels 30 hours). Information, sales on www.oui.sncf

BY THE TRAMWAY

Le Mans station has direct access to the tramway which connects it directly to the 24 Hours circuit. Line T1 connects the city center to the circuit (direction Antarès). Two possible stops: Guetteloup-Pôle Santé Sud (northern entrance to the circuit or Tertre Rouge) and Antarès-MMArena-Terminus (150 m from the eastern entrance to the circuit).

ENTRY TICKETS

The “General Enclosure” ticket allows access to the circuit enclosure open to the public, including the Arnage and Mulsanne bends and the Museum. This ticket alone does not give access to the stands, the Paddock and all reserved areas. FREE for under 16s (born after August 22, 2015) accompanied by at least one adult with an access permit. This ticket is available in three forms:

WEEK : valid during the week of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (from August 18 to 22: spectator hills, villages, Museum, Mulsanne and Arnage bends, tests on Wednesday and Thursday, and the race weekend), but not the Test Day which does not welcome spectators.

TESTS: the “Wednesday” or “Thursday” ticket is only valid on the day whose date is mentioned on the ticket.

SUNDAY : valid from 6 a.m. on Sunday August 22.

TRIBUNEY SUPPLEMENTS (places reserved from Saturday morning). Contact the ACO ticket office for information. The site www.24h-lemans.com allows you to view the location of the stands in 3D, with their prices.

Weekend packs are free for children under 8 years old accompanied by at least one adult with an equivalent access permit.

 

PARKING

Parking spaces are available near the circuit, to allow you to park as close as possible to the circuit in complete safety. For your information, parking is free and parking is free during the Wednesday and Thursday tests. From Friday August 20 and until Sunday August 22, 2021, you must have a ticket per vehicle (1 ticket = 1 car). As a reminder: a parking ticket does not give access to the circuit, any adult over 16 years old on the day of the race must have a General Enclosure ticket to access the circuit. Camping is prohibited.

RED PARKING. 30 euros.

 

CAMPINGS

Stay near the circuit, to experience every moment of the race more intensely! All are equipped with toilets and showers and are open from Wednesday August 18 to Monday August 23 at 12:00 p.m. It is possible to park your cars, campers and motorbikes there. You will benefit from a 35 m2 pitch including parking for a single vehicle (1 ticket = 1 vehicle; the price applies for your entire stay) A compulsory entry ticket to access the reception areas : any adult over 16 years old on the day of the race must have a General Enclosure ticket to access the circuit.

BLUE ZONE & HOLLY ANNEX. Full price 75 euros. ACO price 64 euros.

GREEN ZONE. Full price 105 euros. ACO price 90 euros.

 

SERVICES

AID STATIONS. Several infirmaries and first aid stations are installed within the circuit (see map), coordinated by the Spectators Medical Center located at car parks 9 and 12, behind the Village. To note
