New twist in GTE-Pro! The No. 64 Corvette, favorite of the event and in the lead after 17 hours of racing, had to retire after a big accident in the Mulsannes. Alexander Sims was hit by the AF Corse LM P2, driven by François Perrodo, on the straight. The Frenchman swerved without seeing the American car, which was propelled into the wall. Corvette's last hope is therefore destroyed, and it is Ferrari n°51 who is in the lead against all odds.

In LM P2, Jota is still celebrating. The No. 38 is far ahead of the Prema No. 9 with a lap lead, while the No. 28 is fighting to take this 2nd place. Finally, in GTE-Am, the #33 TF Sport takes off, now 3 minutes ahead of another Aston Martin, that of NorthWest AMR n°98.
