The two Porsche 911 RSRs now lead the GTE Pro after several problems for the Corvette C8.Rs.

H7 – Drama in GTE Pro, Porsche in the lead!

The milestone of 7 hours of effort 24 Hours of Le Mans was fatal to the No. 8 Corvette C63.R. The yellow car was well ahead of the GTE Pro since the start of the race, but a puncture to the left rear wheel damaged the suspension in the same place.

The mechanics will try to repair Antonio Garcia's Corvette as quickly as possible but the damage is considerable. During this time, Porsche takes control of the category, with the first two positions to boot! Kevin Estre has a 1'33'' margin over his colleague Gianmaria Bruni.

Ferrari is also back in the saddle because Alessandro Pier Guidi, despite a pit stop penalty for not respecting track limits, is 3rd, 9” behind the #91 Porsche. Nick Tandy (Corvette poleman) changed the brake pads on his car and is slightly behind.

In the other categories, no notable changes can be reported. Toyota prances at the head of the general with the n°8 in front of the n°7, Alpine is far behind. In LM P2, the advantage still goes to Jota ahead of the Italian team Prema and Team Penske. The TDS Racing x Vaillante climbs to the foot of the podium. In GTE Am, Frenchman Julien Andlauer (Porsche) manages his one-minute lead over David Pittard (Aston Martin).
