Crowned with her victory in GTE Am at the 6 Hours of Spa in April, Lilou Wadoux (Richard Mille AF Corse) takes part in her second 24 Hours of Le Mans at only 22 years old. The Frenchwoman will let her teammate Alessio Rovera start the Centenary edition at around 16 p.m. this Saturday, June 10, from fifth place in the category.

How do you cope with the rise in expectations from the public and the media?
Obviously, we have a lot of requests for this race. We had an honorable result during the previous round in Spa (victory). As a result, this led to greater media expectations, which is normal. Fortunately, the team Ferrari coordinated the requests well with AF Corse so that I was as less tired as possible before departure.

How did you anticipate the 24 Hours of Le Mans compared to the other events of the season? WEC ?
We are more expected than other weekends. We take the race like any other, except that the 24 Hours of Le Mans are longer and harder than the other rounds of the season. The main thing is to finish the race to score points in the WEC. If we can win, it will be even better.

What are your favorite moments during Le Mans week?
Driving at night, as far as the track is concerned! Otherwise, I love the drivers' parade on Friday. There were a lot of people, it's just magical to see so many people supporting us.

What does Alessio Rovera bring to you?
Many things. He has great experience in GTE, it's a real plus to have him as a teammate. To qualify the car, it has that little extra that we don't yet have, thanks to this experience. But it helps us progress at each meeting.
