No one saw that coming! Everyone, including us, admittedly, thought that the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 of NASCAR would be equipped with pneumatic cylinders. But the Hendrick Motorsports team, which is entering the American car under the Garage 56 regulations, has decided to play the authenticity card. As in the Cup Series, a jackman will come and lift each side of the car using a jack.
As you can see from this video, the number of mechanics allowed to work on the car during pit stops is limited. A format that suits these mechanics well versed in this exercise.

In order to lead the mechanics to the podium where they received their trophy, Jenson Button and Jimmie Johnson happily played the role of bodyguards. The NASCAR team is definitely Team Smile this year!
