Toyota will bring together its past and its future at the Centenary of 24 Hours of Le Mans. Thus, from 1er June to July 2, the five Toyota Gazoo Racing hybrid racing cars that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2018 to 2022 will be exhibited at the 24 Hours Museum as part of the centenary celebrations organized by the Automobile Club de West (ACO). The three TS050 Hybrids and the two GR010 Hybrids are preserved in their original condition, as they were at the end of their respective races. This will be the first time these five cars will be displayed together.

Additionally, the winning cars in 2018 and 2022 will be driven by two former Le Mans winners with Toyota, Alex Wurz and Kazuki Nakajima, alongside other historic cars during the Centenary Parade which will take place on the Circuit de la Sarthe on June 10, before the start of the race.

A demonstration of the hydrogen-powered GR Corolla

Toyota is developing several technologies to support its customers on their individual journey towards zero emissions. Among these, hydrogen combustion technology is already deployed on the ORC ROOKIE GR Corolla H2 Concept which will carry out a demonstration on the 16,626 km Circuit de la Sarthe on June 10 at 12:20 p.m. in order to present the potential of hydrogen to help achieve a carbon neutral future.

Toyota, through the Rookie Racing team, is participating with this vehicle in the Super Taikyu endurance championship in Japan as part of its research to design ever better cars through motorsport. This GR Corolla runs on hydrogen gas. The latter powers a combustion engine producing sounds and sensations identical to those of traditional racing cars, but with almost no tailpipe emissions.

Exhibitions showing ways to achieve carbon neutrality

From June 7 to 11, several exhibitions will be organized on the circuit to present to motorsport fans the different avenues for the future realization of a carbon neutral society and look back on a century of 24 Hours of Le Mans, an event which has allowed Toyota to develop its technology.

Together with the Japan National Tourism Organization and Mazda Motor Corporation, Toyota will also organize a thematic exhibition to promote tourism in Japan and showcase its efforts in technology development to realize a carbon-neutral society in Japan.

Hello the "editor" of the weekly, reread before publishing 1 article, the length of the Le Mans circuit is not 16,626 km but 13,626 km, unless they added 3 km for the "centenary "24 hours!!!!!!
