Designed to comply with LMDh regulations, common to IMSA and the ACO, the new Cadillac LMDh-VR prototype will be based on a standardized chassis and will incorporate a hybrid powertrain but “ will feature a single combustion engine and distinctive bodywork » specifies the American giant.
As with the DPi-VR currently used in IMSA, the design of the LMDh-VR will be the result of the work of GM Design and Dallara. The LMDh program will be carried out in collaboration with Chip Ganassi Racing and Action Express Racing, two teams already using the DPi-VR on the other side of the Atlantic.
