A little less than a month after the last round of 24 Hours of Le Mans, the crew of Louis Delétraz, Robert Kubica and Yifei Ye (Team WRT) won at Spa-Francorchamps after an eventful race. From the start, racing accidents kept coming. The number 07 G-Drive Oreca 26 – Gibson and the number 32 United Autosports did not pass the first turn unscathed. Roman Rusinov was forced to stop his LM P2 after a pit stop, while Phil Hanson started at the back of the peloton. The misfortunes of the two WRT pursuers in the general classification offered the Belgian team a royal road to a title at home. Especially since the number 37 of COOL Racing, who started from pole position with Charles Milesi, gave up the lead before the end of the first hour of the race. Initially withdrawn after the big off-track the day before at the top of Raidillon, the trio Manuel Maldonado, Nicolas Jamin and Job van Uitert took the lead in the second hour and revived United Autosports.

Coming out second after the end of Robert Kubica's stint, Yifei Ye confirmed the promises seen at Le Mans by taking the lead of the race with a daring braking in Les Combes on Manuel Maldonado, hampered in his restart by a GT. Louis Delétraz took the wheel for the last hour and took the number 41, so unlucky in Sarthe, to the title of champion in LM P2. The stated objective of Vincent Vosse's men was to take a step towards the title during this penultimate round of the season, they will travel to Portimão at the end of October with the trophy in their suitcases and a new invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in your pocket. The second will be played in the Algarve between G-Drive, United Autosports and Panis Racing.

LM P2 classification:

A weekend that could have been royal for the Belgians. Sarah Bovy thus presented herself at the head of the LM GTE category with Iron Lynx for the last hour of the race, but the Iron Ladies had to leave the controls to the AF Corse number 88 of Alessio Rovera, Emmanuel Collard and François Perrodo to make their last stop. The Franco-Italian trio won at the wheel of their Ferrari 488 GTE Evo and also did well for the ranking of their category. Second before this Belgian stopover, David Perel and Duncan Cameron saw their race end an hour after the start when the Briton was unable to avoid the Algarve Pro Racing LM P2 of Bradley, Habsburg and Menchaca while the latter returned to the track following a first collision with the Ligier JS P320 – Nissan of RLR MSPORT. Matteo Cressoni, Rino Mastronardi and Miguel Molina maintain the lead in their category with their second place of the day.

LM GTE classification:
