As the final hour of racing approaches at the 4 Hours of Imola, the Oreca 07s of Panis Racing and COOL Racing, driven by Job van Uitert and Yifei Ye respectively, are neck and neck for first place. The Dutchman must manage the pressure from the outgoing champion while weaving through traffic. Sophia Floersch moved up to third position with the #19 Algarve Pro Racing. Will the German score a third podium in a row in the championship?

United Autosports continues to lead the LM P3 category with Kay van Berlo and Andrew Bentley in the No. 3 car. L'Aston Martin No. 69 Vantage AMR from Oman Racing with TF Sport still dominates the LMGTEs with Marco Sørensen now at the wheel. The Iron Dames are no longer in second place after their problems encountered on the Ferrari while Rahel Frey got into the car. The second Aston Martin from Oman Racing with TF Sport now occupies this second place with Henrique Chaves at the wheel ahead of the Spirit of Race n°55 of David Perel.
