Starting from the back of the grid, the COOL Racing Oreca 07 moved up to second position, behind Prema, leader at mid-race.

Yifei has already offered one of the maneuvers of the season in European Le Mans. The reigning champion took advantage of the fight between Fabio Scherer (Inter Europol Competition) and Sophia Floersch (Algarve Pro Racing) to make a double overtake on the inside. The high point of the comeback orchestrated by the Chinese driver, as he started from the back of the grid after qualifying where COOL Racing was unable to record any time. The Swiss team moved up to second place halfway through the race, less than eight seconds behind the race lead occupied by Ferdinand Habsburg for Prema. Panis Racing occupies third place.

Les Iron Dames mènent toujours l’épreuve en LMGTE. Michael Fassbender est remonté sur le podium, au deuxième rang, après son erreur de la première heure avec la Porsche n°93 de Proton Competition. Une deuxième Porsche complète le podium avec la n°18 d’Absolute Racing menée par Andrew Haryanto.

The situation also changed in LM P3 with the No. 320 Ligier JS P13 – Nissan from Inter Europol Competition in first place, ahead of the No. 2 from United Autosports and the No. 7 from Nielsen Racing.
