Change of leader at the 4H of Portimão. After the second hour of racing in Portugal, it is Mathias Beche who leads the standings with the Oreca 07 of TDS Racing x Vaillante. The Frenchman leads the race ahead of Ferdinand Habsburg in the No. 9 Prema, still virtual champion at mid-race. Bent Viscaal moved into third position with the No. 07 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca 19 as the rain returned to the Portuguese circuit.

Although Inter Europol Competition lost its lead in the general standings, the Polish team is still at the top of the LM P3 standings with Charles Crews. The American leads his category alone ahead of the #320 United Autosports Ligier JS P2 – Nissan driven by Joshua Caygill. Michael Benham occupies third place with the COOL Racing n°17. Charles Crews was, however, hit by Nicolas Jamin at the wheel of the Panis Racing LM P2 just before halfway.

The Iron Dames left the lead in the LM GTE category for a while to theAston Martin Vantage AMR n°69 from Oman Racing with TF Sport driven by Ahmad Al Harthy. The two cars are nevertheless on a staggered strategy and Sarah Bovy regained the lead at the end of the second hour, with only one passage through the pits.
