Asian LMS – Oak Racing wins at Fuji

Oak Racing achieves a flawless start to the 2014 Asian season Le Mans Series. Victorious during the opening round at Inje in Korea, the French team doubled the lead this Sunday at Fuji in Japan after a duel with the Eurasia Motorsport team which had beaten it in qualifying. The trio Ho-Pin Tung – David Cheng – Keiko Ihara, competing in the Morgan-Judd LM P2, won ahead of the trio Jun Jin Pu – John Hartshorne – Richard Bradley entered in the Oreca-Nissan LM P2.

In CN, it was the Craft-Bamboo Racing Ligier JS53 of Mathias Beche – Samson Chan – Kevin Tse which won. In GT, the No. 4 BMW Z91 of Jun San Chen – Tatsuya Tanagiwa – Carlo van Dam won in the internal Team AAI duel against the No. 92 Nissan GT-R of Chen-Sakaguchi-Seefried. In GT-Am, the #11 Lamborghini Gallardo from The Emperor Racing team of Akihiko Nakaya – Max Wiser – Giorgio Sanna won.
