ELMS – Duqueine stands out in EL2 at Paul Ricard

Although the sky is still well overcast, the track is dry this morning. At the end of the second free practice session for the 4 Hours of Le Castellet, the best time went to Nelson Panciatici, who shares the wheel of the No. 07 Duqueine Engineering Oreca 29 with Pierre Ragues and Nico Jamin. The Frenchman, whose team is making its debut in LM P2, completed a lap in 1'41"215, which allows him to be ahead of two other Oreca 0s by 6"0 and 9"07, namely the no. 21 DragonSpeed entrusted to Nicolas lapierre-Ben Hanley-Henrik Hedman and the No. 33 of TDS Racing led by Matthieu Vaxivière-François Perrodo-Loïc duval.

The Var manufacturer monopolizes the leading quarter since the #07 24 of Racing Engineering (Olivier Pla-Norman Nato-Paul Petit) is fourth, just ahead of the #217 Dallara P30 of AVF by Adrian Valles at the wheel of which we find Henrique Chaves and Konstantin Tereschenko. The first Ligier JS P217, the n°23 of Panis Barthez Compétition (Julien Canal-Timothé Buret-Will Stevens) is sixth, 1”6 from the reference mark.

In LM P3, the top three was monopolized by the Ligier JS P3s. The n°15 of Farano-Van Uitert-Garofall (RLR MSport), in 1’52”290, beat the n°3 of Wells-Grist-M. Bell (United Autosports) and the No. 11 of Mondini-Van Berlo (Eurointernational). The first Norma M30, No. 17 from Heriau-M. Lahaye-J.-B. Lahaye (Ultimate) is fourth.

Finally, in GTE, the session was dominated by the two Porsche 911 RSR from Proton Competition, the n°88 of Mr. Cairoli-Roda-Roda. Having beaten the n°77 of Ried-Olsen-Dienst.
