ELMS – Franck Mailleux bounces back at Race Performance

Franck Mailleux distinguished himself last year in ELMS by evolving within Morand Racing. Alongside Natacha Gachnang, the Frenchman scored two podiums at the wheel of the Swiss team's Morgan-Judd. But despite its good results, and lack of budget, the Malouin had to give up his place to the Austrian Christian Klien for the last rounds of the season. After looking for a steering wheel, the French driver will continue to evolve within a Swiss team.

Race Performance has chosen to offer the services of the Frenchman to compete alongside Suiise Michel Frey on the Oreca 03, while a third driver will be announced later. At the end of a disappointing season marked by a sixth place in the Championship, the Swiss team wants to bounce back and return to the forefront. Race Performance has also submitted an application file to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans June 15 and 16.

The 2014 ELMS season will begin with testing at Paul Ricard on April 1 and 2, two weeks before the opening round at Silverstone (Great Britain).
