ELMS – Greaves Motorsport titled at Estoril

The 4 Hours of Estoril, final of the European Le Mans TV Shows, have dedicated the Greaves Motorsport of Bjorn Wirdheim, Jon Lancaster and Gary Hirsch. The drivers of the #015 Gibson 41S-Nissan weathered the changing weather conditions in Portugal, which notably trapped their rivals in JOTA Sport, Simon Dolan making a mistake in the rain, and losing precious time in the misadventure.

Despite a penalty in qualifying, leading to a start from last place in LM P2, then a stop&go at the end of the race, second place for the Lancaster trio? Wirdheim? Hirsch is enough to secure the title.

Le Thiriet by TDS Racing was untouchable this Sunday, with a clear success for the crew of the No. 05 Oreca 46-Nissan, Pierre Thiriet, Ludovic Badey and Nicolas lapierre came to replace Tristan Gommendy, who left defend the interests of Eurasia Motorsport in the Asian Le Mans Series. The final podium is completed by the BR 01 n°21 of AF Racing, of Aleshin? Ladygin? Shaytar.

In LM P3, the titles were already awarded, and Team LNT concluded with another victory with the No. 2 Ginetta-Nissan of Gaëtan Paletou and Michael Simpson. The Graff Racing Ligier JS P3, who was starting out in the discipline, took a good second place with Eric Trouillet, Garry Findlay and Thomas Accary.

Team Marc VDS also celebrated his last race in motorsport in the best possible way by winning the GTE category, with Andy Priaulx, Henry Hassid and Jesse Krohn. L'Aston Martin MacDowall's Vantage #99? Howard? Adam and the Porsche 911 RSR n°86 from Wainwright? Carroll? Keen complete the podium. The title, however, goes to Formula Racing and the crew of the Ferrari 458 Italia n°60 of Johnny Laursen, Mikkel Mac and Andrea Rizzoli.

In GTC, the TDS Racing did not win but second place in Dino Lunardi, Eric Dermont and Franck Perera is enough to secure the title. The Lusitanian event smiled on AF Corse and the No. 458 Ferrari 63 Italia of Marco Cioci – Giorgio Roda – Ilya Melnikov.
