ELMS – Greaves will start on pole at Silverstone

Jon Lancaster placed Greaves Motorsport's Gibson 015S on pole for the season-opening 4 Hours of Silverstone.ELMS by completing a lap in 1’48”752 on the British track. The local driver, teammate of Gary Hirsch and Bjorn Wirdheim, was 4 tenths ahead of the other Gibson 015S entered by Jota Sport and led by Harry Tincknell who spun during his first attempt. The new Oreca 05 of Thiriet by TDS Racing of Thiriet-Badey-Gommendy will start from 3rd row.

Michele Rugolo was responsible for setting the GTE reference time with a time of 2'00"151 signed at the wheel of the Ferrari n°81 d’AF Corse. L’Italien a devancé la Porsche du Proton Competition de Bachler-Al Qubaisi-Ried et la F458 Italia d’AT Racing pilotée par Talkanitsa-Perguidi.

Franck Perera took the TDS Racing BMW into first position in the GTC with a time of 2'01"939. Team LNT dominated the LMP3 with the #3 of Hoy-Robertson on pole ahead of the #2 of Simpson-Paletou.
