ELMS – Harry Tincknell extends his contract with JOTA Sport

For two seasons, Harry tincknell came very close to winning the European Drivers' title Le Mans Series, finishing second in 2014 and third in 2015. The 24-year-old Briton will have a third chance this year to pocket the continental crown, after extending his lease with the team JOTA Sport.

Tincknell will be lined up on the Gibson-Nissan 015S of the British team alongside Simon Dolan, and from newcomer Giedo van der Garde out of the six races on the championship program.

“My goal is to win the title,” comments Tincknell. We need to make it happen this year and I firmly believe we can. The atmosphere within JOTA is absolutely fantastic and the team is going from strength to strength. It's great to work with Simon again.

He certainly had his best year racing in 2015 and we work very closely together. I feel like Simon, Giedo, and I can move forward in 2016 and bring back the title. »

The first round of theELMS 2016 will take place on April 16 on the Silverstone track.
