ELMS – Jota Sport has revenge to take at Silverstone

Simon Dolan, Filipe Albuquerque and Harry Tincknell will team up again this season to defend the colors of Jota Sport in ELMS on the Gibson 015S. The crew of the British structure inclined for four points against Signatech-Alpine last year after losing big in the opening round at Silverstone. Jota led the race 48 minutes from the checkered flag before retiring following an accident with a GT.

The Jota Sport trio intends to take their revenge this season with the 4 Hours of Silverstone contested this April 11. “We have to attack from the start. It’s a relatively short championship (5 races) and we saw last year that every point counts”, insists Simon Dolan. “We had victory within reach last year at Silverstone and to be knocked out by a Ferrari “in distress” was hard to swallow. I like the nature of the Silverstone circuit and its very fast sections, but I'm not a big fan of the new sections. »

Simon Dolan will be able to count on the skills of his teammates since his compatriot is a Nissan driver while the Portuguese also defends the interests of Audi Sport.
