ELMS – Julien Canal joins Krohn Racing in Austria

For reasons of date conflict between theELMS and USC, Oswaldo Negri Jr will not be able to keep its commitment in European Le Mans Series during the next event of the Red Bull Ring on July 12. The Brazilian, who will be in action at Mosport in Canada with Michael Shank Racing, will be replaced by Frenchman Julien Canal, regularly entered in the World ChampionshipEndurance with G-Drive Racing.

The 32-year-old from Le Mans will have the experience of the Ligier JS P2 that he drives in the World Cup. “The Krohn Racing team is very professional. I met Tracy in 2011, when we competed in the ILMC (international Le Mans Cup championship) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. When my team manager told me about this opportunity to race with the Krohn team, I accepted with pleasure. I think the Ligier is one of the best cars in the LM P2 category and I believe we will have a good result at the Red Bull Ring. »

Canal will find the boss Tracy Krohn and Nic Jonsson behind the wheel of the Onroak Automotive P2.
