Nathanaël Berthon took pole at the 4 Hours of Paul Ricard at the wheel of the Murphy Prototypes Oreca 03R-Nissan. The Jota Sport Zytek is at the forefront.

ELMS – The Murphy Prototypes on pole at Le Castellet

The Murphy Prototypes will start on pole at the 4 Hours of Paul Ricard (Alpes-Provence-Côte d'Azur) thanks to Nathanaël Berthon who set a lap time of 1'47"837 at the wheel of the Oreca 03R-Nissan. The Frenchman, who usually competes in the GP2 Series, was almost three tenths ahead of his closest competitor, Harry Tincknell placing Jota Sport's Zytek Z11SN-Nissan on the front row.

Christian Klien followed by half a second on the Morgan-Judd of Newblood by Morand Racing, while Franck Mailleux was the last driver within the same second on the Oreca 03-Judd of Race Performance. Nelson Panciatici took the fifth time on theAlpine A450b by only two thousandths ahead of Arthur Pic who is making his debut on Sébastien's Oreca 03R-Nissan Loeb Racing. Tristan Gommendy lifted the Thiriet by TDS Racing Ligier JS P2-Nissan to seventh place.

SMP Racing dominated the GTE and GTC categories. Andrea Bertolini took the GTE pole with a time of 1’55”691 at the wheel of the Ferrari n°72 which will start in front of the n°80 of Kessel Racing driven by Broniszewski-Piccini and the n°55 of Griffin-Rugolo-Cameron. Luca Persiani was responsible for taking first position in GTC with a time of 1'57"336 signed in the #71 Ferrari.
