ELMS – Murphy remains the reference in testing at Paul-Ricard

The teams of theELMS did not take advantage of good weather in the Var for the pre-season tests carried out at Paul-Ricard, several sessions being disrupted by rain. The time of 1’48”155 achieved by Nathanaël Bethon on the Murphy Prototypes Oreca 03R thus remained the benchmark during the two days of testing while the Irish team had already shown itself to be the fastest at the Castellet tests in 2014.

It is the Oreca 05 du Thiriet by TDS Racing of Thiriet-Badey-Gommendy who was the closest, clocking less than three tenths of the best time. Greaves Motorsport completed the top three LMP2 with the Gibson 015S from Hirsch-Wirdheim-Lancaster.

The Ferrari were unsurprisingly the fastest of the GTs, this model being predominant in the GTE and GTC categories. Alessandro Perguidi was responsible for setting the benchmark with a time of 1'56"980 in the #56 AT Racing.

Team LNT carried out the first tests of an LMP3 with the Ginetta which finished in 15th place with a time of 1’57”932.
