The Oreca 05-Nissan of Thiriet by TDS Racing has just won the 4 Hours of Imola, second round of the European Le Mans Series. The trio Ludovic Badey-Tristan Gommendy-Pierre Thiriet was 12”140 ahead of the Oreca 03R-Nissan of the Murphy Prototypes of Nathanaël Berthon-Mark Patterson-Michael Lyons and the Gibson 015S-Nissan fielded by Jota Sport for Simon Dolan, Harry Tincknell and Filipe Albuquerque, despite a penalty of 1'35" for an infringement during a pit stop.
The top 5 is completed by the Gibson 015S in the colors of Greaves Motorsport of Gary Hirsch-Björn Wirdheim-Jon Lancaster and the Ligier JS P2-Judd n°57 of Krohn Racing at the wheel of which we found Tracy Krohn, Oswaldo Negri Jr and Nic Jonsson.
The Garofall-Dons duo (Ginetta-Nissan n°7 of the University of Bolton team) won in LM P3. In GTE, it is Ferrari 458 Italia n°56 of Talkanitsa-Talkanitsa Jr-Pier Guidi (AT Racing) which triumphed while the trio Mastronardi-Castellacci-Hall (Ferrari 458 Italia n°62 AF Corse) did the same in GTC.
The next race will take place on July 12, in Austria, on the circuit of Red Bull ring.
