ELMS – Tech 1 Racing launches into LMP2 with Panis and Barthez

“Panis-Barthez Competition” will be a new team entered in the LMP2 category of theELMS. Under the management of Tech 1 Racing who will take his first steps in Endurance, the structure will field a Ligier JS P2 entrusted to Fabien Barthez.

The 2013 French champion of FFSAGT will embark on this new adventure with his current teammate within Team AKKA ASP, Olivier panis. The winner of the 1996 Monaco GP will not, however, be behind the wheel but will work from the pits alongside Simon Abadie, the co-director of Tech 1 Racing.

Manager Renaud Derlot will have to find two teammates for the former goalkeeper of the French football team. Panis-Barthez Competition will present an application for 24 Hours of Le Mans 2016 played on June 18 and 19.
